As the temperature becomes warmer by each day, the surrounding green grass has gradually come back to life. The beginning of new encounters has started with the arrival of spring.
Today, with opening ceremony of the 2008 school year, a new semester has begun. We sincerely hope that our ten grade-three students and nine grade-two students will continue to pass on the traditions of Atsuta junior high school. In the afternoon, the entrance ceremony is scheduled to be held, where eleven new active bloods will become part of Atsuta junior high school. This year, three new staff members will also be joining our team. We look forward to this new addition and their future involvements in the school.
In the past year, as a result of the integration with Morai junior high school, a new two-semester system was implemented ahead of other junior high schools in the city. During this period, our school has received positive feedbacks from many others. Since then, an excellent graduating class had also left the nest of our school.
In this upcoming year, the two-semester system will be continued. The main objectives will be to further improve students’ scholastic abilities. In addition, we will also focus on the reinforcement of creating a school filled with laughter and energetic greetings.
Furthermore, in this fiscal year, the educational goal of Ishikari city is P.U.W., standing for Pleasure, Unite, and Will. Our school’s interpretation of P.U.W. is to create a comfortable environment for students, where students and staff members are united with the same vision, and to foster students with goals for the future. Thus, our main goal is to become a fostering school for love and aspiration. With the support from parents and the community, Atsuta junior high school will make our best efforts to promote excellent education. Thank you for your continuing support in the year ahead.
